COVID-19 Update

We are pleased to announce that we will opened our doors on Monday 13th July 2020 for massage, nails and waxing. All other treatments will resume on the 1st August 2020 (available to book online now).

We are planning on running at reduced capacity to ensure a safe and relaxing environment for both us and you. You will also notice a few changes throughout your journey with us.

Booking your appointment:

Bookings are being taken online, by phone and email. When calling you may notice that you get through to our voicemail more frequently than normal; we are running with reduced staff in salon to make it safer and will call you back as soon as we are free.

You may notice when booking your appointment that the duration is longer than normal, we have added time to each treatment to allow our rooms/nail stations to be thoroughly cleaned (more about this further down). Your physical treatment time will be as normal.

The day before your treatment:

We have decided to implement a paperless consultation system to avoid the wait in salon whilst completing the necessary forms. You will be sent an SMS message with a link to a consultation form that must be completed before arriving to your appointment.

Our consultation forms now also include a declaration that must be signed and agreed to stating that you have not experienced covid-19 symptoms or have been in contact with anyone with such.

We are also able to email a payment link to you if you wish to pay in advance to avoid further contact – if you would like us to do this please let us know.

The day of your appointment:

Please only attend your appointment if you are well. We also request that you attend unaccompanied (unless you require a carer for medical reasons), unfortunately this means that for the moment we will not be allowing children within the salon.

We also ask that you keep belongings brought into the salon to a minimum as we will not be able to take your coat to hang up.

When you arrive for you appointment we kindly wait outside, we will have a seat on either side of our door (socially distanced) should you require one. Please bring your own reading material if you require it as we have had to take away our magazines.

Your therapist will come and get you when they are ready to take you through.

Upon entry you will be asked to sanitise your hands at our sanitising station and put on a face mask (these will be provided). Face masks must be worn throughout your visit with us to ensure both your and or safety.

Your treatment:

If you are visiting for a nail appointment you will be taken to one of our freshly cleaned manicure stations (we are currently only running 2 manicure positions at either end of the reception area to ensure social distancing). You will still be able to choose your nail colour as normal (we have added more colour wheels and extra disinfectant steps to these).

Your therapist will be sitting behind a screen, wearing appropriate PPE and will also have thoroughly cleaned/sanitised their hands in front of you. All equipment other than metal implements are disposed of after use and metal implements fully sterilised in an autoclave (to the same standards as dentists and medical professionals).

Following your treatment your therapist can take contactless payment directly at the manicure station, our reception desk is also available with a screen.

If you are visiting for a treatment in a therapy room, you will be taken straight to your freshly cleaned room. Your therapist will be wearing PPE and we ask that you do not remove your mask.

Except for massages all bed coverings used are disposable, for massage we have taken the decision to retain towels for comfort and overall experience. These towels will be removed immediately after treatment and placed into a colour coded pillowcase for laundering and tumble drying at a high temperature. You can of course let us know if you would prefer disposable coverings for your massage.

All equipment used in our treatment rooms are disposable where it is not possible to sterilise completely. You will also be able to pay within the room should you wish.

Purchasing Products:

We have decided initially to open on an appointment only basis, if you usually visit us to purchase products on separate occasions to your appointments we ask that you purchase these online and click ‘local collection’ or call us on 01344 771099 to arrange purchase and collection. We will not for the time being be allowing walk in purchases.

Extra Measures:

We have implemented the following extra measures in addition to those above:

  • We are not allowed to offer beverages at this time, we are also not allowed to let clients consume their own on the premises (this would require you to remove your mask also)
  • We have implemented more in-depth cleaning procedures which includes a ‘cleaning mist’ to thoroughly sanitise rooms between use.
  • Our therapists have been split into two teams with a break between shifts to allow for extra cleaning to take place, this may mean your preferred therapist has different availability to normal.
  • Our toilet facilities will only be open for clients upon request to ensure thorough sanitisation between use – please use your own facilities before leaving home is possible.
