Delivery & Returns

DELIVERY

Dispatch

We aim to dispatch in stock orders the same or next working day depending on what time of day the order is placed. For items that our out of stock, you will see ‘back order’ written next to them on both the product page and basket page – you will receive an email with an indication of dispatch time after ordering.

If your order us urgent please use the chat box below to check the current stock level of the items you wish to order – we’re a small salon and our stock moves quickly for popular items but we are always more than happy to check for you.

We ship Monday-Friday excluding Bank Holidays, dispatch may be slowed between holidays such as Christmas and New Year due to limited staffing and suppliers being closed, so please allow extra time for delivery during these periods.

We receive stock deliveries daily and can even ship directly from specific product brands to you.

Delivery Options

We ship all orders via Royal Mail. You can choose from the following services at checkout.

ROYAL MAIL 48 - 2ND CLASS POST

All orders £50 and over are shipped free of charge by Royal Mail 24. For orders under this amount the cost is £2.95. Royal Mails estimated delivery time via this service is 2-3 days however at busy times especially during the covid-19 pandemic this can be longer so please allow up to 10 days for this method of posting from receiving your ‘order completed’ email.

You will receive a tracking number by email when you item is processed, however this will only update when your item is delivered as it is not a fully tracked service. If you would like to see your parcels movements throughout the network please select a fully tracked method of postage at checkout.

ROYAL MAIL 24 - 1st CLASS POST

Royal Mail 24 – 1st class delivery is £3.95 for any order amount. Royal Mails estimated delivery time for this service is 1-2 days h

however at busy times especially during the covid-19 pandemic this can be longer so please allow up to 10 days for this method of posting from receiving your ‘order completed’ email.

You will receive a tracking number by email when you item is processed, however this will only update when your item is delivered as it is not a fully tracked service. If you would like to see your parcels movements throughout the network please select a fully tracked method of postage at checkout.

ROYAL MAIL TRACKED 48 - TRACKED 2ND CLASS

Orders sent by Royal Mail Tracked 48 are £4.50. Royal Mails estimated delivery time via this service is 2-3 days however at busy times especially during the covid-19 pandemic this can be longer. Currently fully tracked post is moving through the network quicker than untracked mail but please still allow up to 10 days for this method of posting from receiving your ‘order completed’ email.

You will receive a tracking number by email when you item is processed and can track your items progress.

ROYAL MAIL TRACKED 24 - TRACKED 1ST CLASS

Orders sent by Royal Mail Tracked 24 are £5.50. Royal Mails estimated delivery time via this service is 1-2 days however at busy times especially during the covid-19 pandemic this can be longer. Currently fully tracked post is moving through the network quicker than untracked mail but please still allow up to 7 days for this method of posting from receiving your ‘order completed’ email.

You will receive a tracking number by email when you item is processed and can track your items progress.

ROYAL SPECIAL DELIVERY - NEXT DAY

Select special delivery for the quickest delivery. For £7.50 it is usually next working day from dispatch.

RETURNS

RETURNS

We want you to be delighted every time you shop with us. Occasionally though, we know you may want to return items.

We offer a 100% money back guarantee on Products returned for any reason within 14 days of the PURCHASE date provided they remain in the original, unopened packaging and are in re-saleable condition.

To arrange a return please email us at online@amelialane.co.uk with the reason for your return, name and items you wish to return. When we approve your return you will receive a return address and instructions. Please then post the item back to us via a secure postage method in suitable packaging for posting.

Once we receive your items back we will verify the individually security codes to ensure the item is the one that we had originally supplied and process your refund.

You should allow up to 7 days from receipt by us of your returned goods for your refund to be processed. We will normally refund you using the same payment method that you used to purchase the goods. Postage and packaging charges will not be refunded. Please note that if you had originally benefited from free postage and the return takes your order below £50, the £3.95 postage that would have been applicable will be deducted from your refund amount. This does not affect your statutory rights.
